Planning notes by The Travel Insights · Updated 2026-09-10

Suggested trip lengths and day groupings below are our editorial starting points. Your personalized plan will depend on your interests, pace, and dates.

Three days, plus chosen excursions

We suggest three days for Antalya’s old quarter, coast, and one cultural or scenic outing. Add time for archaeological sites farther afield. A resort holiday can be longer without needing to fill each day with a long vehicle-based tour.

Keep Kaleiçi and the harbor together

Explore the old quarter and harbor in one walking block. Give a beach or more distant attraction its own outing. Antalya province covers a much wider area than the city; identify the actual location before assuming a regional sight is nearby.

Choose your hotel area before booking pickups

Kaleiçi, Konyaaltı, and Lara offer different settings and collection routes. Check whether your hotel is included and how early the shared pickup begins. Some narrow old-quarter streets require meeting at an accessible point outside the hotel.

Compare waterfall and ancient-site itineraries

Tour labels can conceal very different stops and road distances. Confirm the named waterfall or archaeological site, entrance fees, and actual time there. For a boat outing, identify the harbor and route rather than assuming every departure starts in central Antalya.
