How much time to allow
Allow seven to ten days for Yerevan and two regional stays. A shorter visit can focus on the capital with selected excursions rather than covering the whole country.
Choose a connected route
Choose a northern route toward Dilijan and Lake Sevan, or a southern heritage journey. Gyumri adds a different city experience. Mountain-road transfers need their own time.
Where to base yourself
Use Yerevan for nearby outings, then sleep farther out when the route would otherwise require repeated long returns. Check the particular monastery or trail approach.
Before booking
Confirm current route access and transport with the operator, especially near sensitive border areas. Religious-site visits, food experiences, and outdoor walks offer variety without needing several similar monastery tours each day.
