Two or three days for the city

We suggest two full days for Milan’s central landmarks and a neighborhood evening, or three if art and design are priorities. Keep a Lake Como excursion outside that city allowance: the journey and lakeside connections deserve their own day.

Connect the cathedral and central streets

Use the Duomo and Galleria area as one sightseeing anchor, then explore Brera at a relaxed pace. Reserve another block for the Castello area or a museum. Navigli works better as an evening destination than as a brief detour between fixed bookings.

Choose between walkability and rail convenience

A central or Brera-area base suits a short sightseeing stay. Near Milano Centrale can be practical for onward trains, but check the route to the places you will visit most. The main railway station and the cathedral district are different areas.

Reserve the art you came to see

If The Last Supper matters to you, establish ticket availability before fixing the rest of that day. For Duomo products, compare cathedral, museum, and rooftop access carefully. A similar title does not mean identical inclusions or the same entrance procedure.
