We suggest two full days for Palma’s historic streets, cathedral, and another cultural outing. Add time for beaches or journeys across Mallorca. An island tour is a separate day rather than a short extension to the city walk.

Keep the cathedral and old town together

Use the cathedral and nearby Almudaina area as a central block, then explore lanes and courtyards at a slower pace. Bellver Castle sits apart from this core and deserves its own route planning. Leave time to enjoy the waterfront between interiors.

Choose a city or beach base deliberately

Central Palma suits a short cultural stay; a resort outside the city suits a different trip. Compare the transport to your meeting points before booking. A cruise arrival also needs time to reach the historic center and return to the ship.

Check the exact cathedral access

Compare standard interior admission with any terrace or guided option, including availability and physical requirements. For island excursions, identify the towns actually visited and time out of the vehicle. Do not assume a Palma departure includes collection at every coastal hotel.
