San Andrés has a distinct Raizal cultural heritage. Consider a locally guided introduction alongside a sea-focused outing, instead of treating the island solely as a departure point for snorkeling. Ask which stops are included and where time ashore is allowed.
Compare your accommodation with the actual pier or meeting point. A hotel transfer and a boat ticket can be separate purchases. Reserve space between check-in and an afternoon sailing, and confirm the return arrangement before booking dinner.
If a particular water excursion matters most, avoid making the last morning its only possible slot. Ask about conditions and rescheduling. Additional island connections need their own confirmed arrangements; do not assume a San Andrés booking includes travel to Providencia.
