Suggested trip lengths and day groupings below are our editorial starting points. Your personalized plan will depend on your interests, pace, and dates.

How much time to allow

Seven to ten days suit Seoul and another regional base. Add dedicated time for Jeju rather than inserting it as a quick mainland excursion.

Choose a connected route

Seoul and Busan form a useful city pairing, with a selected heritage extension if time allows. Jeju requires a separate flight or ferry plan.

Where to base yourself

Stay near practical urban transport and choose a Jeju base according to the coast or trails you want. One island hotel may be far from activities on the other side.

Before booking

Check palace and museum schedules and confirm regional transport. Mix neighborhoods, food, heritage, and landscape days rather than repeating broad city highlights.
