Days 1–2 · Settle into a first base
Choose a first base that works with your arrival point. Lucerne is one option to compare for a town-and-lake start. Keep arrival day gentle and use the next day for a walk or a locally departing experience.
Days 3–5 · A mountain base
Move to a base in the Jungfrau region if its landscapes fit your priorities. Separate transfer time from sightseeing time. Choose one main mountain excursion, with lower-altitude days available if conditions change.
Day 6 · Follow your interests
Use this day for a valley visit, a gentle walk or another activity appropriate to your group. Do not assume two high-mountain excursions are necessary to make the trip worthwhile.
Day 7 · Return without rushing
Plan around your departure station or airport and leave a generous transfer margin. If Zermatt matters more to you than the Jungfrau region, consider substituting it as the mountain base rather than adding another hotel change.
Adapt the outline
This is a suggested route structure, not a transport schedule. Check current rail connections and mountain operating information, then choose your exact destinations in the planner.
