Three days for old and contemporary Valencia

Allow three days for historic streets, the City of Arts and Sciences, and a park or coastal outing. Add time for a slower beach stay. A large aquarium or museum visit can occupy much of a day on its own.

Use the Turia as a connecting landscape

Give the old center a walking block, then choose a manageable section of the Turia gardens on another outing. The City of Arts and Sciences is a large complex with several venues. Decide which interior matters instead of assuming the entire complex is one quick attraction.

Choose city access or beach time

A central base suits the historic sights; coastal accommodation serves a different rhythm. Compare public transport to the activities you intend to book. Check a bicycle tour’s distance and route if the group includes less confident riders.

Compare the venue combination

Aquarium, science museum, and other admissions may be sold in different bundles. Buy for the time you have rather than the longest list. If planning a paella experience, confirm whether it is a cooking class or a meal, and allow enough time to enjoy it.
